Working on varied cleaning tasks in a friendly team your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities and conducting security searches on designated aircraft according to Company, Client, and Regulatory policies, specifications and standards. You will be responsible for cleaning including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning wash rooms/toilet areas.
Initially this is a 30 hours per week requirement. Additional hours may be available if operationally required.
Job Responsibilities
The following responsibilities are associated with this role:
Mop, sweep, dust and vacuum. Empty bins, remove waste Carry out delegated cleaning tasks to a high standard using approved cleaning materials and equipment Preparation of stores and vehicles prior / between / after to carrying out cleans Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly including the cleanliness of vehicles inside and out ensuring we are perceived to be the best and most efficient cleaning company Carry out any other duties connected to our contracts to ensure our customers receive a high class product Use ramp equipment including Hi-lifts, toilet and water bowser Miscellaneous duties as assigned Assist colleagues in other areas of the airport as required Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority security requirements Comply with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Produce work-related documentation when required – job sign off sheets Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all time
Qualifications and Competencies
Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability to speak and understand the English language Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and ability to work as part of a team Follow instructions and work safely within limited time frames Work in inclement weather Project a smart able attitude to our customers through high standards in work practices Hold a valid full UK Driving Licence (desired)
